Holiday Club

Every summer holiday time, St Andrew's Church organises a holiday club for children aged 5 - 11.

Holiday Club 2007 - Waste Watchers

Once again we will be holding our holiday club, this year entitled ‘Waste Watchers’, from Weds.29—31 August and will also form the Sunday service on 2 Sept. The Holiday Club is for children from reception age to Year 6. Forms will be given to every child in St Andrew’s School and additional forms are available in the lounge. Places are limited (we are usually over-subscribed) so it is essential to book early. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

For those folk who have been asked to help or are willing to help please return your forms to Clair Brown.

Awesome was our holiday club for 2006. Watch this space for details of Holiday Club 07

Holiday Club 2005  - Land Lubbers!

In this year's Holiday Club organised by St Andrew's Church, our young Landlubbers were shipwrecked on a desert island filled with excitement and adventure. This time our children learned about God through the journeys and teachings of St Paul through song, drama puppet shows and craft. Holiday Club 2004 Xpedition Force.

Last year, the children went on a journey through the last week of Jesus' life, from the entry into Jerusalem to the resurrection as told in Matthew's Gospel. But this was no old fashioned Sunday school class. The church was decked out as a mountaineering base camp, complete with a mountain and the children learned through videos, puppet shows, quizzes, games, and craft. And of course we learnt a whole bunch of new songs and actions. Masses of fun was had by all.

And of course we have lots of fun every month at Kidz Church so if your child enjoyed Xpedition Force they would enjoy Kidz Church too!

We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD.
( Psalm 78:4)
