5th March
Outwardly the building has not changed a great deal in the last month as most work has been going on inside the building. The floor has been poured and work has been progressing on cabling. As of today the shelter over the section joining onto the school is being dismantled, which would indicate that the interface to the school is now watertight. |

7th February
The recent snowy weather did not make work easy for our builders but things are now continuing once again. The roof tiling is going ahead and the pipes for the underfloor heating system are now laid. Work is also taking place on the section of building that joins the existing school building. Please pray for Richard, the Building Committee and the builders that progress continues. |

Preparation work for the tiling of the roof has now taken place. Unfortunately it appears that the weather is holding up work now. Please pray for a quick end to the cold snap and for safety for the builders |

13th DecemberMuch of the brickwork is now in place and the building is taking shape. The roof is now largely boarded and the frame for the dormer window is now in place, as are the stained glass windows salvaged from the old St Andrews building. Many thanks to the carpenters for the wooden cross they have fitted to the roof! Very appropriate as we come to the time to celebrate the birth of our Saviour who of course was, himself a carpenter.

27th July Hilife have been working for a while on the inside of the building for a week or so now, carrying out the necessary health and safety work prior to demolition. The area is now a construction site with no unauthorised entry. The picker which will be used to nibble away at the building arrived today and we believe that its use is imminent. It can just be seen to the rear of the church. As of today the stain glassed windows and the exterior cross are still fixed. |
