Aug 15th - This Sunday, we have 5 child and adult baptisms of church members. Tim will also come over and preach so that some of us can get to know him prior to Simon's departure. We'll also have the Broadfield Childrens' Project AGM straight after the service.

Aug 22nd - Ian Prior may be coming over. Ian was vicar here in the late 1980s.

Sept 5th - This will be the last service for Simon and the family.

This will be a Communion service and towards the end, we'll hold a forum where, as usual, any grace filled comments can be given.

This is a chance to find out about the situation as it will stand in September once Simon has left - who will do things? what happens about weddings? baptisms? When will there be a new leader for the church? Do come to find out more, and ask questions about any areas you'd like to express views on.

On Sunday 11th July the service will be at Littlehampton Beach. More details are on previous postings here, or talk to Amanda and Jeremy. All the coaches are now full. About 30 people are also making their own way by car. The short service at the beach will include two wedding blessings and two immersion baptisms in the sea.

On Sunday 18th July we are celebrating in the morning service the great event of John and Joan Buddings renewal of their wedding covenant after 50 years of marriage.

Also, congratulations to Dan and Kelly and to Jan and Lorna on their forthcoming weddings.
