may and june 2008
Bcp (Broadfield Children's Project) and Arctic Jungle
The next event is May 1st where we've booked out the whole of Arctic Jungle. This is a ticket only event and there is no set charge. It is open to anyone in Broadfield. Children must have their own parent with them. Call the church office for a ticket.

Diocesan Synod and National Steward events... here
If you are reading this because you are coming to Diocesan Synod at the church, or the National Money Care seminar hosted here, welcome. Do get directions from the heading at the top of the website. If in doubt, we are on Coachmans Drive - if you have a sat nav and input RH11 9BA it will take you to a service road 20 metres from the church.

Pack a pub...? June.
At the end of June we'll be booking a whole pub again for anyone connected with the church to come along for an amazing lunch followed by a walk. Last year it was a very wet walk - this year...?

april through to may 2008
We're in a post Easter time here at the church.

The mission team have gone, but they have made a big impact on the church. We've also had a gift day, and from this, have some big decisions to make for the future...

In the meantime, Sunday by Sunday we are continuing to look at what both a 'serving' and a 'praying' church is like.

Some things coming up include...

13th April. Concert by Edgson-Gruet for the Building Hope fund 7.45pm
29th April. Annual church meeting (APCM) at Tilgate 8pm
1st May? Possible Arctic Jungle event (100 spaces so do book early) with Broadfield Children's Project
10th May. Hosting the Diocesan Synod here all day
13th May. National Money care and management event here 10am
29th June. Pack a pub church lunch 12.45pm

November into December 2007 and Through Faith Missions
What an end of October it has been.

We joined with The Fellowship for a Harvest celebration with a difference. The difference was the great breakfast for everyone before hand. Seeing 100 adults devour 100 croissants in minutes was worth seeing.

As we go through November, we have a few things starting up. We are starting to look at what a worshipping church looks like. This is part of a year long theme of 'Becoming an Acts 2 Church'.

Nov 11th Service will begin at 10.55am so we can hold silence at 11am. We'll explore 'The Option to Worship - or Requirement?'
Nov 18th we have communion at 11am with a theme of 'Worship God Perfectly Now?'
Nov 25th at 11am is about 'It Hurts to Love'.

For those interested in Mission and sharing their Christian faith, there is a special evening by Through Faith Missions on Friday 6th December, in the church (7.30pm). The speaker will be Revd Jonathan Mortimer, formerly leader of this parish and now working in "Walk Missions". http://www.through-faith-missions.org/
